Overview: A day celebrating the fun side of climbing. Expect weird and wonderful climbing challenges that will require you to be creative and think outside of the box!

What is happening?

The main focus will be a fun comp throughout the afternoon but we will also be holding the finals of our High Volume League that has been running over the last few months across Volume 1 and High Sports.

Fun Comp Format

There will be 25 boulders set across the wall for people to try, similar to a normal comp but with more weird boulders than normal.

20 ‘Normal’ boulders, including the 4 boulders from the HVL Final (See below)

4 Anything but a hold boulders!

1 Endurance boulder (from the HVL Final)

HVL Final Format

The top 5 competitors from the Open and Women’s 16+ High Volume League rounds, plus potential wild cards will battle it out on the comp wall.

HVL Final Timings: 2pm – 2.45pm

On the comp wall, starting at 2pm. There will be 2 boulder problems per category (Open and Women’s) and then an endurance boulder/route in the centre to complete. Will be a scramble format so all competitors will be climbing at the same time.

After the final, has finished the comp wall will be open for all competitors to try the problems as they will also be included in the main fun comp.

Kids Clubs: These will be running as normal throughout the day, instructors will be getting the kids involved in the challenges around the centre!
