Uninstructed Climbing
Please note that any group size larger than 6 kids will need to be booked in as an instructed session, even if you have the correct ratio of supervisors.
If you are happy to safely supervise your own kids in the centre then you are able to do this without booking.
Each adult is able to supervise a maximum of 2 children, however there are some rules that need to be followed depending on the age of the children so please make sure you read our supervising kids page for more information.
If you have not supervised anyone in our centre before then we will give you a short ‘Safe 2 Supervise’ briefing before you begin climbing.
When supervising yourself, you just pay the entrance price and can stay as long as you like. Whilst not essential, we do recommend hiring climbing shoes as it will significantly improve their performance.
Price: £11 per child
Shoe Hire: £3.75
We do not charge for supervisors providing that they are not climbing.
Supervisors must fill out our Acknowledgement of Risk form for all participants, including themselves.
Instructed Climbing
Boulder Fun Sessions
If your kid(s) are keen to try out climbing or have done some climbing in the past then we recommend booking on to one of our Boulder Fun Sessions. These are 1 hour fun sessions for kids aged 4–16, and are suitable for all abilities. For more information and to book please click HERE.
Kids Clubs
If your kid(s) are keen to begin climbing with us regularly, then our Kids Clubs are the perfect option.
Clubs start from age 4 and all sessions are instructed by qualified and experienced staff. Parents are welcome to join in or relax in our cafe or viewing area.

Home Ed Clubs
We also run Home Ed clubs during weekday daytime that follow the same syllabus as our Kids Clubs.

Birthday Parties
Bouldering is a great way to celebrate a birthday and we run fun-packed kids birthday parties that are suitable for kids aged 4+.
